It was a proud day for AEK Youth FC with two teams, the U11s & U13s in the Amateur Football Alliance (AFA) Finals where teams from leagues around London competed against each other to reach yesterday’s final.
AEK U11s beat teams from top divisions of leagues on the way to the final and played Lea Valley in a very hard fought match. The boys competed really well and fought so hard for each other just losing out 2-1. AEK’s goal was a fantastic freekick from Jack Lancaster who also picked up a well deserved Man Of The Match award. All the boys should be so proud of their performance and achievement yesterday and getting to the final.
